Bowls

The Carpet Bowling Club has been in existence since 1902, making it the same age as the church. It originated in the Tin Tabernacle when it was no longer needed for worship. From there it moved to the coach house and thence to Clachanmore school eventually settling in the old smiddy in Ardwell where it still meets today.
